1. Your Use of Our Service

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) create a legally binding agreement between you and Bridgespace. By using bridgespace.io and its services you consent to be bound by these Terms and by our privacy policy (link privacy policy). If you do not accept these Terms you cannot use this service.

2. Your Use of Our Service

We may alter our Terms in the future. No alteration will be retroactive and you will be notified of any material change to this agreement. Alterations will come into effect one month (30 days) after publication. Continued use of the Site and its services will constitute acceptance of the changes. If you object to any change to the Terms terminate your account.

3. Security

Access to your user accounts is protected with a password. Bridgespace cannot guarantee that third parties will not defeat our security system.

4. Copyright Policy

At Bridgespace, we collaborate with various companies and organizations, and we respect their intellectual property rights. All content on this site (logos, graphics, audio and video, text and software) are copyrighted and owned by BridgeSpace or the respective right holder.

Using Bridgespace and its services does not transfer or grant any right or interest in any of the available content. You may use and access the content on this site for personal use and for the purpose of using our services. Commercial use is prohibited. You cannot modify or redistribute any of the material or information provided on this site or through our services.

5. Disclaimer and Limit of Liability

BRIDGESPACE, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT AS PERMITTED BY LAW, IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT OR INDIRECT DAMAGE OR LOSS ARISING IN CONNECTION TO THE USE OF OUR SERVICE OR SITE. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT PERMIT THE LIMITATION OF LIABILITY, IF THIS IS TRUE FOR YOU, THEN THIS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT AS PERMITTED BY LAW, BRIDGESPACE DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE OR SITE OR CONTENT WILL BE ERROR FREE, UP-TO-DATE, OR THAT THE SITE IS SECURE AND FREE FROM VIRUSES.

6. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed and operate under the laws of the Province of Ontario, the federal laws of Canada, and common law. Should there be any conflict between a provision of these Terms and any applicable law, the conflicting term is to be considered amended as to conform to the law.

8. Separate Agreements

If you have other agreements with BridgeSpace they are held separately from these Terms of Use.

9. User Content

Users warrant that provided services are accurate and up-to-date. Information you post to the site will not be considered confidential.

Bridgespace does not guarantee the accuracy or usefulness of the workshops, challenges or competitions. To the full extent possible, as permitted by law, Bridgespace will not be liable for any damage or loss arising from participating in these challenges.

10. Indemnity

By using BridgeSpace you hereby agree to indemnify Bridgespace and its members, licensors, and affiliates from any action, claim, settlement or liability, and any legal fee that arises from your violation of these Terms.

12. Competitions and Social Impact Projects

Some competitions and projects may put forward additional terms and conditions governing participation. To take part in these competitions you must agree to the relevant terms.

13. User Conduct and Warranties

While using our services you must not act in any way that is unlawful or in any way that we may consider inappropriate. This includes but is not limited to:

Infringing another person’s legal rights Uploading files that contain viruses or may damage our property or the property of other individuals Posting material that can be considered racist, pornographic, discriminatory, threatening, or that can in any way violate network security

Bridgespace reserves the right to monitor user interactions but is under no obligation to monitor user disputes. You, as a user, are responsible for your interactions with other users.

Bridgespace reserves the right to take down any posted information without notice. We also reserve the right to terminate access to the Site and services without notice and without liability for any loss that may arise as a result.
By creating a Bridgespace account you guarantee at the time of account creation you are at least 14 years of age or older at the instance of account formation.

14. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time. Upon termination you continue to be bound by sections 5 and 13.

Bridgespace reserves the right to terminate your account at any time where there is fraudulent or illegal activity or where section 13 is violated.
